Recreation and Wellness Center
Recreation and Wellness Center (RAW) is designed and built to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Standards and maintains green and sustainable practices. The RAW offers recreation programs including intramural sports, group exercise, and personal training.
The RAW also hosts the Wellness Center, a health education resource for students.
Brief:
• Design signage for paper towel dispensers and mirrors inside restroom facilities.
• Create a social media campaign to promote the various health and counseling services available to students.
Signage Concept: To encourage RAW members, students, staff, and faculty to lessen their carbon footprint by reducing their paper towel and water usage through simple, easy-to-follow instructions.
Social Media: The goal was to provide resourceful information to encourage students to visit the Wellness Center. I was tasked with creating a shot list, directing the photoshoot, editing images, and designing graphic layouts. Understanding the obstacles, the copy was kept short and easy to follow, making the task sound simple or less daunting. The design uses warm tones for a positive appeal and different photography layouts were created to fit within Instagram's default square size.
